Simply place it under your tongue and close your mouth for about 45 seconds; a beeping alarm indicates the measurement has been completed. After 10 minutes, it automatically shuts off if there are no temperature changes.

The memory function recalls the last temperature reading. It does not contain mercury. Its waterproof tip is easy to clean by wiping or rinsing.
